Product description

A new capsule for an even smaller microphone, the Earsight nano with PIP adapter can be used as a lavalier microphone for stereo voice recording or hidden on a backpack for stealth recording without being noticed. It is also a really good option to increase your Gopro sound (with Gopro mic adapter not included and works only with the PIP version).

If microphone size is important to you, this is the ideal mic. The same quality of manufacture as the Earsight, always assembled in France and tested before shipping.

The EarSight Nano XLR Stereo Microphone is very effective for nature recording, soundscapes, ASMR, binaural, travelling, nocmig and much more. The Earsight Nano PIP microphone can be used in combination with the Tascam DR-05X, Tascam DR-07X and the Tascam DR-22WL.

Windscreens, especially for outdoor recording, are highly recommended and available here.

Guidelines on the use of Immersive Soundscapes microphones:

Set the recording gain as low as possible and then turn it up. This allows you to keep some headroom if a sound event has a higher dynamic range, this will help you avoid saturation. This prevents the appearance of background noise which increases with the gain (this depends a lot on the quality of the recorder).
Avoid tapping on the microphone to check if there is sound, this does not damage the microphone but can cause hearing damage.
Do not disconnect the jack or XLR microphone by pulling its cable.
Do not step on the cable as this could damage the connection between the cable and the capsule (the most fragile part of the microphone).
Be careful not to pull the cable when you want to disassemble the 3D adapter.
