The EarSight Standard V2 XLR Stereomikrofon improves the design of the V1, now, you have removable clip to use the mics as lavalier or to mount them anywhere, windshields can now be installed without 3D adapter with retaining groove integrated into the microphone body. The microphone 3D printed part contains carbon fiber to ensure durability.
The microphones are also lightweight but they keep the same capsule than Standard version with best signal to noise ratio and also almost insensitive to RFI noise.

Guidelines on the use of Immersive Soundscapes microphones:
- Set the recording gain as low as possible and then turn it up. This allows you to keep some headroom if a sound event has a higher dynamic range, this will help you avoid saturation. This prevents the appearance of background noise which increases with the gain (this depends a lot on the quality of the recorder).
- Avoid tapping on the microphone to check if there is sound, this does not damage the microphone but can cause hearing damage.
- Do not disconnect the jack or XLR microphone by pulling its cable.
- Do not step on the cable as this could damage the connection between the cable and the capsule (the most fragile part of the microphone).
- Be careful not to pull the cable when you want to disassemble the 3D adapter.
