The TWC7 "Outback" hat's waxed cotton develops it’s own character over time & use; leaving your unique history built into the fabric itself. Tilley has put a "double pass" of wax on their Outback Waxed Cotton hat
to be extra thorough. A quick spin in the dryer every few washes will rejuvenate the finish.

Synthetic wax finish that protects against rain. To restore finish, simply tumble dry on low for 3-5 minutes.
Certified UPF 50+ fabric offers maximum protection from the sun
Foam in crown and brim to ensure you don’t lose your hat overboard
Wind cord to keep the hat on your head in high winds
Heavy duty fabric that is durable and rugged making it good for cool to mild temperatures
