The new standard for the identification of hoverflies in Northwest Europe. The fully illustrated identification key makes it easy to identify hoverflies even in difficult genera such as Platycheirus and Cheilosia. Afdter identification there is a fact sheet for each species, where important characteristics are again referred to in very good pictures. In addition, there are further characteristics in the text of the fact sheet that help to confirm the identification and give hints on the differences to similar species. There is also information on phenology, habitat and a distribution map. 10/10!
