This duck basket is a safe nesting place and an ideal hiding place for Mallards, Pochards and Moorhen. Place the basket early in the year as the ducks will start building their nest in February. Place the basket with three or four sturdy long poles in the water up to a maximum height of 1 meter with respect to the water surface. Alternatively, the basket can also be placed at the edge of the water in dense vegetation. Mallards breed from March to June with usually laying between seven and eleven eggs. Clean the duck basket after the breeding season.
