The AmScope M162 Serie Monokular Mikroskop 40x-1000x is a versatile microscope. It has two lamps and functions both as a high-powered transmitted-light microscope for viewing microscopic specimens and as a low-powered reflected-light microscope for viewing larger objects such as leaves and insects. The lower lamp can be used to view very small, translucent specimens such as cells or even the vascular systems of thin leaves. For more opaque objects, such as stamps, sand, or insects, the upper lamp provides reflected illumination. The AmScope M162 Serie Monokular Mikroskop 40x-1000x has five magnifications: 40X, 100X, 250X, 400X, and 1000X.
A 10-piece slide set is included, containing five biological slides and five blank slides. The light sources operate on a wall outlet (adapter included) or three AA batteries (included). This microscope is perfect for homeschooling for students from elementary through high school.
