The Carson Universal Smartphone Adapter IS-200 HookUpz 2.0 is designed for digiscoping. Digiscoping is the making of photos and videos with the aid of binoculars, spotting scopes, telescopes, microscopes and/or night vision. This HookUpz 2.0 universal smartphone adapter can be used for optical products with a maximum eyepiece diameter of 56 mm. We recommend that you do not digiscope for more than two consecutive hours because of the stretching of the springs. The HookUpz 2.0 is suitable for telephones with a maximum width of 9.5 cm.

Application:

Attaching your smartphone to the HookUpz 2.0 makes it possible to take photos and videos of what you see through your binoculars. It is now also possible for several people to simultaneously look through these binoculars, spotting scope, telescope, microscope or night vision device. Because a lens spacer is supplied, the distance between the lens and the eyepiece can be adjusted.
Even when you buy a new smartphone, you do not need to purchase any other or additional accessories with this adapter. All you need are the products that you already own. Consideration has also been given to use in low-light environments, as certain parts of the HookUpz 2.0 are neon green and provide light in the dark.
