      Product description

      This specially developed sharpening rod made of 100% natural "blue" sharpening stone from the Belgian Ardennes is used for fine sharpening of wood carving knives and gouges. Due to special geological play of nature, this stone contains about 30% garnet. This ensures excellent sharpening properties. The Ardennes-Coticule sharpening stone is a non-porous sharpening stone that should only be used with a little water. The grinding paste that is created gives an unprecedentedly beautiful sharpening result. Slight irregularities can occur in this handmade sharpening stone and will not adversely affect your sharpening result.
