Product description

This carefully crafted sharpening rod is made from 100% natural Belgian Blue Whetstone sourced from the Ardennes. Thanks to a unique geological formation, the stone contains around 30% garnet, giving it outstanding sharpening properties and producing a beautifully refined edge on carving knives and gouges.

With a grit rating of 4000, this stone is perfect for fine sharpening work. It is non-porous and should be used only with a little water. As you sharpen, a natural slurry forms that delivers an exceptionally smooth and sharp finish.

At 20 cm in length, the rod allows you to safely and precisely sharpen even curved blades such as Mora spoon knives. Since each stone is handcrafted, slight irregularities may occur. These are purely aesthetic and do not affect the performance or sharpening results.
