The portable Tascam DR-05XP Audio Recorder with USB-C interface is pleasantly compact and very versatile, and is the successor of the DR-05X. Recording and determining birds in both WAV up to 96 kHz in 16/24 bit/32 bit float, or, in MP3 up to 44.1/48 kHz in 320 kbit/s. The Tascam DR-05XP Audio Recorder can also be combined well with the Pettersson D240x Bat Detector.

The Tascam DR-05XP Audio Recorder has an omnidirectional stereo microphone that records sound including speech in detail so that you can listen to the recording clearly. The DR-05XP is also equipped with a built-in USB interface that allows you to directly transfer files from your computer to the recorder or make recordings directly from the computer. Recording is done on MicroSD media with a maximum storage capacity of up to 512 gigabytes, this is not included.

Furthermore, the recorder is equipped with all the conveniences that belong to this, including a low-cut filter, a peak reduction meter, limiter, audio recording pre-recording buffer of 2 seconds, self-timer and much more. There is even a built-in tuner. The tripod adapter on the bottom is also very practical with which you can easily mount the DR-05XP Audio Recorder on a tripod or camera tripod. This device works on 2 x AA alkaline batteries, these are not included and must be ordered separately.
