The Dino-Lite Basic USB Microscope AM3111 is an excellent all-around model for a wide range of applications. It offers adjustable magnification from 20x to 200x and is easy to operate with the convenient focus knob. This model is the successor to the AM2111 and is an ideal entry-level model for educational or hobby use.

With a frame rate of 60 frames per second, the AM3111 delivers smooth and stable images. Thanks to the new sensor, the colors are true to life, and the image quality remains impressive even in low light.

The microscope comes with DinoCapture software for Windows and DinoXcope for macOS. This software allows you to view, capture, and make precise measurements. After saving an image, simply enter the magnification value as read from the microscope dial. You can then take measurements such as length, angle, and circumference, and add them to the image as text or highlights. A convenient calibration function allows you to calibrate the magnification value against a known reference, significantly increasing measurement accuracy.
