      Watkins & Doncaster Weed Drag

      Product description

      The Weed Drag is a practical tool for sampling and collecting aquatic plants. Its three weighted metal prongs can be dragged along the bottom of the water to loosen aquatic plants and bring plant material back to the water's edge.

      The weighted design helps the Weed Drag sink below the surface, allowing aquatic plants to be collected from different depths. It is supplied with a 4 m cord, providing a useful reach when sampling from the bank or shoreline.

      The Weed Drag is suitable for ecological and biological fieldwork, aquatic surveys and educational applications. It can be used to investigate the presence, composition and distribution of aquatic plants in ponds, ditches, lakes and other waterways.
