Product description

The Rycote Clippy Lyre Holder is a robust microphone holder designed for a single Clippy microphone. It securely grips the base of the Clippy while still allowing a Windjammer or Foam Windshield to be used. Made from virtually indestructible and heat resistant thermoplastic, the holder features Rycote's established Lyre technology. The W-shaped Lyre clip helps isolate the microphone from unwanted vibrations, reducing handling noise, unwanted sound and low-frequency thumps.

The holder fits microphones with a 7.5 to 8.5 mm diameter and features a 3 mm (1/8 inch) mounting hole. The Clippy requires a firm push to fit securely and is easiest to install at an angle of approximately 45 degrees. A screw kit is included with a black 16 mm M3 hex head screw, plain washer and M3 Nyloc locking nut. A 17 x 5 x 2 mm locating nib is fitted to the base and can be removed if it is not required.
