Product description

The Dino-Lite Edge range are designed for professional applications and provide 1.3MP images which are crisp and bright with low aberration and vignetting. The magnification range is x20 to x220. These compact digital microscopes come with exchangeable end caps which makes them suitable for a range of applications and situations. By removing the end cap the user will have access to more working space and the full range of magnification can be achieved. A closed cap is also provided which protects the lens when used in a dusty environment or for looking at liquid samples. A diffuser cap spreads the light evenly on the viewed subject.The AM4115ZT also comes with a built-in polariser which reduces glare and reflection of shiny objects or liquids. Eight built in LEDs provide illumination and can be turned on or off as required.

Supplied with DinoCapture software for Windows and DinoXcope for MacOS. This software allows you to view and capture images from your microscope and also to utilise measurement features. Once an image has been captured the user enters the magnification value, as read from the microscope dial, after which measurements such as length, angle and circle circumference can be taken and added to the image as text and graphics for future reference. A calibration function allows the magnification value, as entered by the user, to be calibrated against a known measurement and increases the accuracy of the measurements taken.

Dino-Lite USB microscopes can also be used as a standard webcam with applications such as Skype. This feature enables a group of remote users to view the microscope output and provides for effective online discussion of the object under inspection.
