      Product description

      Water quality is the beginning and the end of the health of fish. Hardly detectable levels of pollution can accumulate, making fish more susceptible to disease and stress. Vital trace elements often have to remain at a level that is too low to accurately detect with chemical kits.

      Unrivaled performance

      HI83303 is a compact multiparameter photometer for use in aquaculture applications. The meter is one of the most advanced photometers on the market, with an innovative optical design that uses a reference detector and lens to eliminate errors due to changes in the light source or imperfections in the glass cuvette.

      This meter features 20 different pre-programmed methods and measures the 12 most important parameters for water quality, and also offers an absorption measurement mode for performance verification and for users who like to develop their own concentration-versus-absorption curves.

      pH meter

      To save valuable laboratory time and space, the HI83303 can also function as a professional pH meter, thanks to its additional input for a digital pH / temperature electrode. Now one meter can be used for both photometric and pH measurements. The digital pH electrode has an integrated microchip that stores all calibration information. All pH measurements are automatically compensated for temperature variations with a built-in thermistor at the tip of the detection sphere for fast and accurate temperature measurement.

      Made with the aquaculture sector in mind, the HI83303 is a comprehensive solution for maintaining optimal chemical and environmental conditions, to prevent disease and increase production. Two USB ports are provided for transferring data to a flash drive or computer and also as a power supply. For added convenience and portability, the meter can also work on an internal 3.7VDC rechargeable lithium polymer battery.
