    Product description

Rugged and Bluetooth enabled, the MX2308 offers research grade monitoring of key environmental conditions: PAR, temperature, and relative humidity, all in one compact device. Whether you are managing a commercial greenhouse, vertical farm, hydroponic system, or conducting agricultural and ecological research, the MX2308 delivers the data you need to optimize plant growth, health, and productivity.

Designed for simplicity and adaptability, this all-in-one logger pairs with the trusted LI-COR 190R PAR sensor, an industry standard for accurate photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) measurement. Built to perform in a wide range of environments, from controlled indoor farming setups to outdoor research plots, the MX2308 empowers smarter decisions around lighting, ventilation, and irrigation without the complexity or cost of traditional monitoring systems.

Here are some examples where the MX2308 can be useful:

    • Growers, Farmers and Producers: The MX2308 helps improve growing conditions, increase consistent yields and reduce the risk of disease. It is ideal for commercial greenhouses, indoor farms and hydroponic or aquaponic systems, by measuring the conditions where it matters most.
    • Researchers and Educators: The wireless setup and easy data access make it easy to use at different research locations. The data is accurate enough for agricultural research, plant studies and university projects, without the high cost or complexity of traditional research tools.
    • Ag Tech and Innovation Teams: Because it is easy to install and the data is ready to use, the MX2308 is perfect for companies testing new ideas in lighting or climate control. It supports both small prototypes and larger field trials.
    • Easy Setup and Data Access: You can set up and collect data easily with the free HOBOconnect app on your phone or tablet. No cables or extra devices are needed. You can connect via Bluetooth from up to 100 feet away, even in hard-to-reach places.

You will need a compatible phone, tablet, or Windows computer and the HOBOconnect app to use this product. Check the bottom of the HOBOconnect software page to see if your device meets the system requirements.

    Features:

    • Wireless Bluetooth Data Offload: Quickly and easily set up the logger and download data using your phone or tablet (up to about 100 feet away).
    • High-Accuracy PAR Measurements: Built-in LI-COR PAR sensor provides reliable light readings for both sunlight and indoor grow lights.
    • Integrated Temperature and Humidity Monitoring: Records temperature and humidity together with PAR, so you can calculate VPD and get a full picture of your greenhouse climate.
    • Strong and Weatherproof Design: Tough housing (IP67/NEMA 6) protects the logger in humid, wet, and dusty conditions like greenhouses, growth chambers, or outdoor fields.
    • Long Battery Life and Large Memory: Battery lasts over 2 years (and can be replaced), with plenty of memory for long-term data collection.
    • Alarms and Alerts: See warning lights when conditions are out of range, and set custom alerts in the HOBOconnect app for early warnings.
    • Easy to Use and Install: Set up the logger in minutes, choose how often it logs data in the app, and collect data wirelessly in the field – no laptop needed.
