Zeker een effectieve nachtvlinderval. Er kleeft echter een groot nadeel aan en wel er vallen veel slachtoffers onder de aangetrokken vlinders. Dit komt door de bijbehorende spaarlamp waarbij in de ruimte tussen de buizen veel vlinders vast komen te zitten vooral microvlinders. Ook het plastic plaatje met scherpe randen om inregenen te voorkomen zorgt voor veel beschadigde vleugels.
