The Reconyx HyperFire 4K Cellular Trail Camera is part of the new Hyperfire 4 series from the popular camera trap brand Reconyx. This version features an integrated 4G connection, allowing high-quality photos and videos to be transmitted wirelessly to your smartphone or computer. The camera has an 8MP sensor resolution. The excellent video quality is due to the fact that no pixel interpolation is used to artificially increase the image resolution. As a result, the 4K resolution is true 4K, resulting in razor-sharp and lifelike videos.
Additionally, this wildlife camera features an impressive trigger speed of just 0.25 seconds and highly accurate motion detection up to 30 meters. Thanks to the NoGlow GEN 3 infrared illumination, the camera captures clear images even in complete darkness, with a range of up to 45 meters without disturbing the animals. The settings of this 4K series are very extensive, including a Time-lapse function.
4G connection in the Hyperfire HF4KC
A SIM card is used to wirelessly transmit images via the 4G network. This SIM card is included as standard with the camera trap. To use the 4G functionality, you must take out a suitable subscription. You can find more information about the available subscriptions here.
In addition to transmitting images, you can also store the images in the Cloud, and the reconyx HF4KC can be configured remotely.
