      Das Buch ist richtig gut! Ich habe lange nach einem aussagekräftigen Bestimmungsbuch gesucht. Meine bisherigen Bücher waren meist nicht vollständig mit allen Informationen. Oft fehlten Bilder von Vögeln im Jungkleid oder wichtige Bestimmunsgmerkmale waren nicht zu erkennen. Der Doppelband "ID Handbook of European Birds" beschreibt jedoch genau all dies. Die Vögel sind immer in mehreren Kleidern aufgezeigt. Die Bilder sind sehr aussagekräftig. Zu jedem Bild gibt es auch mehre Bestimmungsrelevante Infos mit Pfeilen. Z.b. ist der Turmfalke und Lannerfalke mit je 3 Seiten zu sehen. Das einzige was mir gefehlt hat sind Verbreitungskarten und etwas mehr Infos über die Art. Es gibt nur in der Kopfzeile einen kleinen Vermerk in welchem Bereich von Europa (Nord, Süd, West) die Vögel vorkommen. Der Doppelband ist vollgepackt mit Wissen. Ich würde das Buch weiter empfehlen, jedoch eher für den Fortgeschrittenen Leser der eine Ergänzung zu seinem Standard Bestimmungsbuch benötigt.
