Product description

The HI702 Checker photometer for Copper HR is a compact and accurate solution for measuring copper in water. With a measuring range of 0.00 to 5.00 ppm, this copper photometer is suitable for measurements in both fresh and salt water. The HI702 was developed as an easy-to-use and more accurate alternative to traditional chemical test kits. It uses an adaptation of the EPA method. During the measurement, copper reacts with the bicinchoninate reagent, producing a purple colour in the sample. The photometer measures the colour intensity and clearly displays the result.

Easy copper measurement

The HI702 Checker photometer is designed for quick and straightforward operation. A measurement can be completed in four simple steps:

Fill the supplied cuvette with the water sample.
Insert the cuvette into the HI702 and press the button.
Add the supplied reagent to the sample.
Insert the cuvette again and hold the button for three seconds. The measurement is performed automatically.

The large LCD makes the result easy to read. Its compact size means the copper photometer fits comfortably in your hand or pocket, making it convenient for measurements on the go. The automatic shut-off after 10 minutes also helps extend battery life.
