Product description

The Hanna HI758 Checker Photometer is a compact digital photometer designed for accurate calcium measurement in saltwater and marine aquariums. With a measuring range of 200 to 600 ppm, the HI758 is ideal for regularly monitoring calcium levels in saltwater aquariums.

Unlike traditional chemical test kits and test strips, the HI758 does not require subjective colour comparison. The photometer performs the measurement digitally using an LED light source and light detector, with the result clearly displayed on the LCD screen. This makes calcium testing quick, consistent and easy to read.

The HI758 Calcium Checker uses an adapted version of the well-known Zincon method. Its compact pocket-sized design and lightweight 64 g construction make it convenient to use and carry. Operation is simple with a single control button, while the automatic shut-off helps preserve battery life.
