Product description

The Kowa BDII 8x42 XD is a compact binocular with a wide field of view of 143 meters at 1000 meters. The 8x magnification and 42 mm objectives provide a stable image, making it suitable for extended observation sessions in nature, coastal areas, or city trips. XD lenses with ED glass and fluorite crystal deliver natural color reproduction and high sharpness, even in low light.

The binoculars are lightweight (640 g) yet durable thanks to the magnesium alloy body. The rubber armor protects against shocks and improves grip. The BDII 8x42 XD is fully waterproof and nitrogen-filled, preventing fogging and ensuring reliable performance in all weather conditions. Fully multicoated lenses and roof prisms with phase and C3 coatings enhance light transmission and clarity, while the Kowa Repelling coating repels dirt and moisture.

The central focus wheel operates smoothly and the diopter adjustment ring offers extra grip for quick focusing. The set includes objective and eyepiece caps, a neck strap, and a water-repellent case. A tripod adapter is available separately for extended use.
