The SSF Bat2 Detector is a heterodyne bat detector you can adjust while walking. It has a range between 15 kHz and 130 kHz so you can effortlessly detect all bat species in The Netherlands or the rest of Europe. Of course it's necessarry to know between what frequencies bat species produce ultrasonic sounds. You will find interesting and explanatory literature about that at the Veldshop. But this detector is not only heterodyne, it also contains a frequency divider. If you enable this function, the entire spectrum is continuously scanned. Is a peak observed? You only have to press one button to go to that frequency so you can hear the bat and thus identify it.

The LCD screen can be set as desired and shows a small graph of the frequency range of the observed bat species. Do you already know which bats can be found at a specific location because you regularly visit said place? Then you can set up the scanner up to 4 frequencies in advance so you can search within a certain range.

The SSF Bat2 Detector is suitable for beginners and professionals and is easy to set up. It contains an excellent speaker able to make all bat calls audible thanks to the 1.5 Watt speakers.
