The AmScope HD182-BI Compact HD Video Camera is an ultra-compact and simplified version of our HD series of microscopy cameras. With the ability to easily add live video to your microscope, this camera is ideal for teaching and demonstrations.
C-Mount
The AmScope HD182-BI Compact HD Video Camera uses a standard C-mount lens interface that works with a wide range of microscopes and lenses. It can be mounted directly to C-mount photoports or coupled with a C-mount reduction lens for use with 23mm or larger eyepiece tubes. Thanks to its compact design, the HD182-BI can be mounted on microscopes without adding significant weight.
Real-Time Video
Connect the AmScope HD182-BI Compact HD Video Camera to an HDMI monitor or television to view live video in 1080p resolution at a smooth 60 fps. The camera's integrated software lets you fine-tune exposure, color, and other settings, capture video and photos, and perform metering functions. A USB mouse is included for navigating the on-screen controls.
Low-Light Performance
Utilizing Sony's STARVIS* technology, the back-illuminated CMOS sensor can capture details in low-light conditions, making it an excellent option for use with inconsistent lighting or low-emission applications such as fluorescence and darkfield. These back-illuminated sensors have demonstrated remarkable flexibility and a superior ability to amplify the signal while minimizing noise.
Secure Digital
No computer needed. This camera records directly to Secure Digital media. These universal, high-quality cards make capturing and sharing images easier than ever.
