The Pixfra Mile 3 M335 is a compact thermal imaging monocular from Pixfra’s Mile 3 series, featuring a 35mm objective lens. This thermal camera combines advanced imaging technology with a robust, compact housing that fits easily into your pocket. Thanks to its thermal sensitivity, fast lens, and high-quality OLED display, the camera is suitable for observing and detecting animals and other heat sources, both during the day and in the dark. The 35mm lens makes the M335 particularly well-suited for long-range observation.
The camera is equipped with a VOx thermal sensor featuring a resolution of 384 × 288 pixels, a pixel pitch of 12 µm, and a thermal sensitivity of ≤ 15 mK. Combined with the fast 35mm f/0.9 lens, this delivers detailed thermal images in which subtle temperature differences are clearly visible. The OLED display, with a resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels, ensures a sharp, high-contrast image. The maximum detection range is 1,800 meters. The base optical magnification of 2.5× provides a good overview of the surroundings, while the 1× to 8× digital zoom allows you to magnify the image further to examine distant details more closely.
The Pixfra Mile 3 M335 is designed for intuitive, one-handed operation. Its multifunction control wheel integrates several key functions into a single control element. The dedicated on/off button on the side of the housing is easily accessible and enhances ease of use.
Advanced image processing for clear thermal images
PIPS 3.0 Pro technology optimizes thermal image rendering and helps make temperature differences clearly visible. Depending on the observation scenario, you can choose from six color palettes: White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red, Alarm, Green Hot, and Sepia. The Picture-in-Picture (PIP) function displays a magnified section of the image, allowing you to easily examine interesting details without losing sight of the surrounding area.
Rugged magnesium housing and replaceable battery
The magnesium alloy housing combines low weight with a sturdy construction. Weighing just 300 grams, the Pixfra Mile 3 M335 is easy to carry during fieldwork and nature observation. With an IP67 rating, the camera is completely dustproof and resistant to temporary immersion in water. It is suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +55°C. The replaceable 18650 lithium-ion battery offers added flexibility during extended observation sessions. With Wi-Fi turned off, the battery lasts at least 5.5 hours. Since two batteries are included as standard, you can extend the operating time to approximately 11 hours using the spare battery, depending on usage conditions.
Recording, hotspot tracking, and Wi-Fi
The Pixfra Mile 3 M335 features hotspot tracking, which automatically highlights the hottest spot in the image. This helps you quickly locate heat sources. The built-in electronic compass aids in orientation while in the field. Photos and videos (including audio) can be saved directly to the 64 GB internal memory. Additionally, the camera features a local album and supports automatic, semi-automatic, and manual calibration. The built-in Wi-Fi function allows you to connect the thermal imaging camera to up to four devices simultaneously, within a range of less than 40 meters. This connection enables you to share images and view live footage on a connected device.
