      Product description

      The HI747 Checker Photometer is a compact and easy-to-use digital meter for measuring copper in water in the low range (LR). The HI747 measures copper from 0 to 999 ppb (µg/L) with a resolution of 1 ppb.

      The HI747 uses an adaptation of the EPA method. Copper reacts with the bicinchoninate reagent, producing a purple color. The Checker measures this color digitally and clearly displays the result on the LCD.

      Thanks to its compact size and one-button operation, the HI747 is easy to carry and use. The built-in timer helps with the measurement, while the automatic shut-off after 10 minutes helps save battery power.
