The Fenix ARB-L18-3500 is the Li-ion battery in the popular 18650 format. It has a very large capacity of 3500 mAh and is protected against short-circuiting, overcharging and deep discharge. Thanks to a steel body and pressure relief valves, the battery is extra well protected against drops and bumps to minimize the risk of ignition and exploding.
18650 Lithium-Ion batteries guarantee a very long burning time and work well at low temperatures.
With a capacity of 3500 mAh / 12.6Wh you have 4 times as much energy available as with a NiMH battery on AA size; you can therefore assume maximum performance and optimal burning time. The capacity and service life of the battery benefits from regular full discharge and charging; after 500 full charge cycles, 75% of the capacity remains.
