Synchronise the recorder with industry-standard video equipment without the need for an external timecode device. And use the optional AK-BT2 Bluetooth adapter for wireless monitoring.
The Tascam FR-AV2 Audiorecorder can also be combined with other devices such as the H2d-XLR Hydrophone, Pettersson D240x Bat Detector, or smartphone. Due to its high sampling rate, the Tascam FR-AV2 Audiorecorder in combination with Clippy Ultra XLR Microphones makes it possible to record ultrasonic sounds from bats.

Premium XLR/TRS Combo Inputs
Connect microphones and professional line-level sources directly to the dual Ultra HDDA preamps. With an equivalent input noise of just –127 dBu, you can capture audio with maximum clarity and virtually noise-free. In addition, the 3.5-mm stereo input allows you to use wireless microphones, lavalier mics and any other audio sources you may have in your arsenal.
Ultimate Timecode Generation
With the Tascam FR-AV2 Audiorecorder you’ll be able to streamline a videography rig and take less gear to shoots. The recorder sends and receives timecode via its 3.5-mm input/output for DSLR cameras, and also supports jam-sync for any external timecode devices.
Wired and Bluetooth monitoring are possible, and can work in parallel so that two people can listen at the same time. Using wireless audio monitoring, does require an additional adapter (AK-BT2 Bluetooth adapter) that is not included.
